Sunflowers of Van Gogh represent the biggest irony in the life of this
artist, after he lived a very poor life, his Sunflowers are being quoted
to prices record. In an auction in London in 1987 went for 34.000.000$.
Vincent said: "Is not my fault that my pictures don't sell, but one day
people will know that they are woth more than the materials I used to painted
them"
In this series of paintings, we can admire the geniality of the painter.
Even Paul Gaugin loved his sunflowers, doing a portrait of Vincent Van
Gogh painting sunflowers.
In the majority of the Sunflowers of Van Gogh, we can not appreciate a
minimum shadow, because the light should come from the colours, from inside
the flowers. We could feel the movement of the flowers starting to die.
